Bites and stings are not normally serious but can be irritating and cause discomfort. They will often cause a mild allergic reaction where the skin becomes inflamed and itchy. Insect bites and stings often cause the skin around the affected area to rise slightly. Stings from plants such as nettles can have a similar effect on the skin. Grazes where blood is not drawn can be painful and cause discomfort.
Here at Nativis, we have developed a routine that will rapidly calm the region where an insect bite, sting or a graze is present. We recommend first washing the infected area to prevent possible infection with our Silk Hydra-Fix© Sensitive soap. Then apply a small quantity of the Moisturising gel to the affected area to hydrate and moisturise the skin. The gel will also rapidly relieve the inflammation and any itching sensation that might be experienced. Both the soap and the gel contain a natural active ingredient derived from Sericin which we have called Silk Hydra-Fix©. This active ingredient will hydrate and moisturise the affected area and suppress any inflammation and itching sensation. The same procedure should be adopted to sooth and relieve discomfort caused by grazing of the skin. When used following the directions below, positive results should be observed after a few hours at most and should improve significantly with continued use.

Repeat above procedure daily for best results. Improvements should be seen within 1-2 days with any inflammation or itching sensation disappearing. The gel can be applied as often as required to minimise any inflammation or itching sensation. After 2-3 days of following the above routine, inflammation and itching sensation should disappear and the skin will return to its normal look and feel. Grazes may take a little longer but the skin should fully recover and any redness at the affected site should fade within a week or two at most.
