Oily Skin Package

We all have some oil on our skin. Under our skin pores, sebaceous glands produces a natural oil called sebum which keeps our skin hydrated and healthy. However, these glands can produce too much oil, which gives our skin an oily feel to it and often makes it look shiny. Breakouts on the face are more likely when our skin is oily because the sebum mixes with dead skin cells which blocks our pores, allowing bacteria to generate spots.

There are a number of reasons why our skin may be oily, and these include genetics (hereditary), climate (people tend to produce more oil in their skin in hot, sunny climates), ageing (we produce less oil as we age and so our skin dries out causing fine lines and wrinkles), enlarged pores (which tend to produce more oil) and dehydration. Dehydration is thought to be one of the main contributing factors to oily skin. Dehydration leads to the over-production of sebum.

Silk Hydra-Fix Soap (75g)	Directions for Use - Wash First Wet the affected area with warm (not hot) water. Build up a lather with the hands - apply to affected area through gentle massaging with fingers. Rinse with warm (not hot) water. Dab dry with a clean natural fibre (Cotton for example) towel.
Silk Hydra-Fix Face Serum (100g)	Directions for Use - Hydrate and Moisturise the skin Apply a small quantity of the Face Serum to fingertips and gently massage into the affected areas until the Serum has absorbed. Apply morning and in the evening before sleep. Continue this routine once the condition is under control to maintain a healthy skin balance.
